The long wait is over. Google finally reveals the Nexus 7, a 7-inch tablet with a 1280 x 800 HD display and a pixel density of 216 pixels-per-inch. It comes with either 8GB or 16GB of internal storage.
The screen is covered with a “scratch-resistant Corning glass” also a form of Gorilla glass. It has a front-facing 1.2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, a micro USB port and NFC.
The tablet is powered by a quad-core Tegra 3 processor that powers Google’s upcoming Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Its 4,325mAh battery offers up to 8 hours of active use.
Price for the 8GB will go for $199 and the 16GB at $249.
